How'd everything turn out for the official Agility Trial Dog of Goodhunting?

After holding my breath, since May 5th, I've been able to breath again.
Surgery was touch and go, along with several emergency runs back to the vet.
His stitch area has healed nicely. Ill post a pic of them from the first week after surgery.

He's been able to run up the stairs, jump up on the furniture and pretty much be himself, except agility.

In July he will start physical therapy to strengthen is stomach muscles, they cut apart, and the rest of his muscles.
Im hoping we can get back to agility in September.
We were working on getting qualified to participate in next years Agility Nationals, when all this happened.
He needs 19 more Qs (qualifying runs) and my other guy needs 17 Qs, to be eligible in the drawing for National Entry.

I don't know if we will have enough time, and shows, to earn that many Qs before December 31. :(

Im just glad he's alive and if we are suppose to go to Nationals it will work out.

He will be 10 years old in November.

This probably would be his last Nationals.

Thank you to those that said prayers for him. They were deeply appreciative by me.

Poor pup - that's a heck of a scar! Glad to hear he's on the mend.

You mean="one hell of an expensive scar"....total six grand!
He had an 80% survival rate and he's young, so we gave him the chance to live!
I don't regret the decision!
I just took him for more blood work, to make sure everything is staying stable.
Will be glad to see the results.

Very glad he's ok.
Mut's tend to find their way real close to our hearts.

Ya we had just started back showing, after not competing for a year , because of my injuries.
Just finished two shows and these were the ribbons and Qs from two shows.

The green ribbons are the Q ribbons we need.
Each dog has to have earned 30 Qs, this year, to qualify entry to Nationals Next year~
First show back ribbons
7185
Second show back ribbons
7186
Then the surgery shut us down again!
