I have to say I am a little surprised it passed but I totally understand it.

This was done prior to the vote. But, whether I agree with him or not, I always enjoy John Oliver's take:

And their PM just resigned. There are lots of Brits here and they've, to a person, been asking smugly about Trump. Can't wait to bump into some of them today so I can ask them about their Brexit.

Not surprised at all and think they did the right thing by taking control of their country back from the bureaucrats in Brussels. Trump was right and Obama wrong.

Obama had the nerve to go over to Britain and tell the Brits what they should be doing or not doing otherwise they would go to the back of the que or somesuch. What an arrogant thing to do. I'm not even a Brit and it pissed me off so maybe he did his small part in supporting the Leave side.

The surprise that so many politicians and pundits are expressing at the result of the referendum shows how out of touch with the populace they are. Clueless! I figured Leave would win and they did.
