A little window shaking

These guys are here for the next 3 days, this is the formation they are in as the leave the airport and pass over the house.
A couple of times during the air show they are lower yet as they pass over, can wave at the pilots,
Dogs are not crazy about the sound, but I really enjoy them, not enough to battle the 50,000 people down on the water front, but nice to see most of the show from our deck.

We have the 2nd biggest airshow in the country (2nd to Oshkosh) down here every year. We live on a large lake and I'm assuming it's some sort of visual turn-around point. We're 12 miles from the airport (by road), but I'd figure about 8-10 as the crow flies. During the week before the show while practicing, either the Blue Angels or the Thunderbirds (sometimes both) come right over my house while making their turn back toward the airport. Same as you, I can sit out on the pool deck and see a lot of the show before the airshow even starts! It's something I always look forward to.
