Server brings out a bowl of these things.
I refuse them. Boys refuse them.

My WIFE starts eatin the shit out of them!

At least there's one person in the family with a brain. There is not much on earth better'n a bucket'o boilt peanuts! Caution: She may be hooked now ... that stuff is like crack ... in a pinch, Wally World has 'em in cans! (Hint: Boilt p'nuts and cold beer is a Southern gormet meal

Oh, in case you didn't know ... they're just as good right out of the fridge as they are hot. Gives 'em a touch of versatility! ;)

Hey now, that's some good southern eats, too!!!....ate that twice, last week, down in Biloxi....along with (I lost count) a bunch of huge raw oysters. ;)

Lynn loves couscous, I'm not a big fan. But I LOVE grits! I think the best shrimp & grits I ever had was at Boucherie in New Orleans.
