For an AR-15?

I'll prolly get answers from .30 cents to 2 bagillion $$.

I just want an idea, a ballpark...on a basic one.

I believe if I do not get one soon, I may not get one, ever.

I really DO believe that.

From what I see around here, expect 1100 to 1300 for a low to mid name brand. You will be able to get them. I can go out and buy gazillions of guns that aren't made anymore. Too many ar-15's already out for them to disappear.

Ok let me add. Brands. Which one?
Don't need or want benelli grade.
Remington equivalent is what I'm looking for

Best of luck buying a new one at any price right now.

You can get a POC DPMS for $700 and a good one for $1500, or you could a few weeks ago. Big Sky says "Rock River".

You COULD check online sales at Cheaper than Dirt, but they suspended that a few days ago. Don't know current status.

I am in the same boat. I think it's sailed, though.

And what would it matter how many are out there if you can't legally buy one?

I guess he means that used ones should be around.

I doubt that. Good luck with that.

The world is nuts. Still, they ARE being sold..........even at some Walmarts. Just not all, and out the 'back door', not front one. Dick's pulled 'em, but still sell 'em if they have one 'in the back'.

Your BEST bet is Joe's Guns, or Sam's Guns, some local trustworthy gun shop guy. Go talk to them.

I have a Colt, but there are other ones out there that work just as good.
Around here you can get the lessor ones for a little more than $800, lot's of them just under a grand, best ones around $1200.
