They aren't very good at keeping secrets! Evidently a large Japanese dock, broken away by the tsunami, washed up on the Washington shoreline. It was investigated by the "State Marine Debris Task Force". (Who??)
Anyway, here's an excerpt from the article I found a bit amusing:
Officials aren't disclosing the exact location of the dock to keep people away because of safety concerns. "It's a very precarious location to get to, especially in these conditions," Workman said. "At high tide there's no beach and you've got a bluff."
(Hmmm, I wonder where it is?)
And the very next paragraph???
The beach is between La Push and the Hoh River on the northwest tip of Washington. The nearest town is Forks — of "Twilight" book and movie fame. It's about 100 miles west of Seattle.
Ok, I'm glad we have no clue where it is. Screw the "precarious location" warning ... somehow I have visions of news helicopters crashing into each other at first light! ;)
