A nice relaxing Sunday ...

Lynn and I got up Sunday morning and decided to run over to the Greek sponge docks (Tarpon Springs) and treat ourselves to some Greek food. We looked at it as a practice run for our trip to Greece next month. ;)

The first stop was at our favorite restaurant right on the water front. Of course I ordered my usual ... saganaki (fried cheese) as an appetizer, followed by my favorite, the grilled octopus. Man-o-man was that good stuff!

Then, on a whim, we decided to bum a ride with one of the locals and head over to a small island just off-shore where the locals like to hang out. It was pretty much deserted and we had the beach pretty much to ourselves. The plus side was, we ran across a pod of about 5 young dolphins on the way out and stopped to watch them playing like little kids. They'd come right up to the boat, jumping and splashing like they didn't have a care in the world. The island was a great spot ... our own little slice of paradise, good company and perfect weather. All in all, a great way to kill some time on a Sunday morning.

Well, it was a spur of the moment thing and we kinda went "grubby" ... we rolled out'ta bed, thought about breakfast, then decided to simply jump in the car and head to the coast for "brunch" with no real planning involved. She gets a bit touchy about my taking pics if she hasn't done her hair or make-up. I convinced her we're OLD and who gives a "F" anyway? Heck, she'd kick my ass if she knew I posted these. You know how wimmins are. ;)

We've eaten there, recognize the tiles in the table. It's right down town on the water. Although I don't eat fish bait, I did enjoy some of their grouper.

Possibly so Bubba. It's in Tarpon Springs, right down on the Greek sponge docks. That whole area is solid Greek restaurants, etc. This one is Hellas, one of the more popular and our personal favorite. PLUS, they have the bakery full of goodies right next door! ;)

I 'think' I fixed it on mine by turning off the orientation lock. Its on the menu you get if you sweep up from the bottom. upper right hand corner on mine.

Try that and see if doesn't fix it.
