So my brother has a buddy who's father passed away in May and they have just started going through his house. They called me and said they had some guns they wanted to sell because they needed money. They asked if I would buy 4 guns for $1,000 and I said it just depends on what they are. So they start pulling them out and the first one was a Mossberg 500 pump in 410, the second was a Remington 870 express mag in .20ga so far I wasn't impressed. The third one was a little better a model 700 BDL in 30.06 that was pretty much new. The last gun was a NIB Colt MK IV series 80 Goverment.
I said are you sure you want to do that and they said yes so I now have my first 1911. I think I ended up getting a good deal. The 2 shotguns are in about 80% condition, the 700 is about 90% and here is a pic of the colt. It has the original box and paperwork.
