I hadn't heard of him until you just mentioned him, which is surprising because my sis and brothers usually keep me up on all the baseball prospects from down around Poteau, my home town. Actually, this kid is from Monroe which makes him even closer. Our farm is in a little community called Gilmore, that we always joked around was really 'Lower Monroe'.
Anyways, its good to see a kid from down around home make it to the big show!
