I said good-by to civilian life for the next 6 months, took my first ever airplane ride, and was off to Parris Island MCRD.
For a small town boy from a very conservative town it was an eye opener. Being thrown in with mostly kids from New York City and New Jersey, I heard stories about things that I never dreamed you could do with your girl friend.:slomo
Looking back on it and all that was involved, I'd do it again.
