I'd say the "metal capsule" is nothing but fuel for conspiracy theorists who already swear she wears those funky clothes to hide an IV bag .. or some such silliness. About three people quickly grabbed her as she stumbled getting into the van. My guess is, one of them had something in their hand that they dropped as they reached for her.
