Nice solid football team. I didn't watch much of it.. but Iowa looked like crap.. very possibly as a result of the skill of who they were playing. ;) So, something I've never really been able to understand.. so many of these coaches don't seem to grasp "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." Iowa hadn't been able to move the ball on the ground all day.. So the three most important plays of the game (the result was obvious and inevitable).. what do they do? burn two trying to grind it up the middle.. well, "duh".. ;) They may have "needed" that loss. It will either make them a better team .. or the wheels will fall completely off..

2010: Beat Kansas, 6-3 — paid $375,000
2011: Beat Minnesota, 37-24 — paid $350,000
2012: Beat Colorado State, 22-7 — paid $250,000
2013: Beat Kansas State, 24-21— paid $350,000
2014: Beat Iowa State, 34-14 — paid $350,000
2016: Beat Iowa, 23-21 — paid $500,000

Total - $2.175 million

Bwana, it's been years ago, but it seems I remember from the distant past, that NDSU was on Delta State Univ's. schedule....Delta State Univ. is a small univ. about 30 minutes from my home, here in MS....do you remember them playing each other???

Sorry Eddie but I honestly don't pay a lot of attention to what teams they play.

As for the $ they get paid to whoop up on bigger schools, that is pretty decent gas money.
