A buddy of mine is in the catering business, and is about the best meat smoker that I know....this hot weather has cut into his catering business, but he had an new idea, and is making a small fortune.
Harvest season is in full swing down here, and all of the grain elevators have huge long lines of truckers backed up, with long wait-times for unloading their grain trucks....so, he bought a used hot food truck, loaded it with all kinds of sandwiches, cold drinks, and other goodies, and makes the rounds at all the grain elevators, selling hot food to the truckers, elevator personnel, and office staff.
The "Big Hawg' food truck is filling a need, and making money !!!!! ;)
