Tomorrow morning Dad and I are headed to SW ND in search of a couple of nice pronghorns.
It has been 9 years since we last had a tag as the tough winters of 2009-2011 resulted in a substantial winter kill and/or migration out of the state which caused ND Game and Fish to close the season for several years. NDGF has slowly been allowing more units to be opened and tags to be issued. This will only be the 2nd year our unit has been open to hunting after a closure of 5 years so I am hoping we can find some dandy bucks.
The last time we hunted there were six of us with tags but this time it is only Dad and I, so no matter what this should be a great hunt.
