Have you caught his act on Colbert? The first link is "That's the Way that the World Goes Around" and I love the way he turn a phrase in that second verse. The second link is off his new album and is old school country. Maybe it's the suit and tie, but he doesn't look well to me. Have you heard that he's ad health issues?

He and Iris DeMent have several good ones out now. I like them teaming up! I wish they would make the record that Johnny Cash did with Loretta Lynn called "you're the reason our children are ugly" seems to me that song would be right in their wheelhouse.... I have not heard anything about him being sick.

Love that song and her voice is great. Very "bluegrassy"...

My favorite all time Prine duet is he and Bonnie Raitt singing "Angel from Montgomery":

Julie and I saw him a couple of years ago and he was recovering from lung cancer surgery but appeared to be well on his way back to health. He mentioned it had affect his range so he had to transpose some of hos opd songs to a different key to hit the notes.

Hell I never listened to him for his voice anyways. His lyrics are poetry and is what I love the most.

Its a stupid song, but Grandpa Was A Carpenter is one of my favorites. I've been listening a lot to German Afternoons lately. Storm Windows is the song that makes me sing along the most.

I like Grandpa, too. Paradise is one of my favorites, as well, as Souvenirs and Angel from Montgomery.
