Is there actually a way the GOP could put someone else on the ballot this close to the election? I can't imagine state laws allow a new candidate regardless what the party wants to do. Besides, there'd be that problem of this is who the people voted for.

I saw a poll where almost 1/3 prefer Pence over Trump.

I would put money on Pence winning this election if they could figure out how to get him to the top of the ticket. (and I'd vote for him too even though I disagree with him on about everything political he's the best human being in the whole race)

That'd be illegal though wouldn't it?


And if he doesn't cut Trump loose from himself over this, I'll rethink that part about him being the best.....
