The 50" tv in our bedroom crapped out yesterday. Came home from Disney last night, turned the tv on and .... POOF! It's toast. I read up on it (thank you Al Gore) and it seems this model had a habit of frying capacitors and the symptoms fit persactly, so I'll probably fix it myself when I get time. Dangit, I could pick up a nice one at most ANY estate sale (EVERYONE has a tv) on the cheap, but would have to wait for the weekend ... plus, I'd rather spend a little time finding what I want, instead of grabbing the first thing available. Not to mention the fact election night is coming up and I don't want to spend the night on the downstairs couch following the returns.

I guess I'll be headed to Best Buy in a few minutes. :(

Yep, I shop Sam's and Best Buy for comparison. Shopping and researching on-line right now to decide where I'll buy. We don't have a Costco in town so I'm not a member. (They have 'em in Tampa & Orlando) I'm 10 mins. from Best Buy and Sam's is right down the street from there. I have a Sam's membership, so it's a regular stop there for cat food! ;)

Sam's has a big container of what's called 'Pistachio Lovers Deluxe Mixed Nuts'. I haven't seen it anywhere else. Its the most addicting nut mix ever invented. That shit is like crack.

Phole, my wife was at Sam's a few days ago, and brought home some black pepper pistacios....never seen them before, and I'm really not much of a pistacio eater, but those thangs are addictive. ;)
