Have you ever used one of Fox Pro's Fire Eye lights???....I've seen it advertised several times on Fred Eichler's predator tv show, and was just wondering about it.

They're pricey, as all get out !!!

Under what conditions would it be helpful???

I have one. Great for night hunting/calling. It is bright. FP will be coming out with some more lights soon. Some that can be mounted on your rifle. The Fire Eye is basically a handy light weight super bright portable spot light. Anything you'd need a spot light for it will work only lighter and more handy.
