I didn't think it was. I just thought they sucked and were whiny asses.
once they got Vince Gill and Toby Keith riled up they found out how relevant they really were.
.
No colorization needed for her....just plain ugly to the bone. ;)

You mean Lee Greenwood doesn't do it for ya?

That one's OK. Toby Keith and his ilk are asshats.

Now that's just a classic :P
Thump story: I was stationed in Ft Devens, mass and attached to the 7th Special Forces Group for some "stuff". There was one place to drink and it had an old jukebox with that friggin song on it. The berets would go in there, put dozens of quarters in the juke, start drinking and play that song on repeat the entire night. If there was a person brave enough to play another sing, he never showed his face while I was there for a year :)
Why you gotta hate on Toby Keith. I think his album "Unleashed" is pretty listenable front to back. It's all these pretty boy country singers who need the shit kicked out of them.
Toby Keith has zero talent.
But nobody seems to really care so who am I to say :)
For people like you and BPP that like that monotonous, no melody having boring cerebral crap like Prine and his lot, I'm shocked you would favor a hockey puck like Toby.
Hey there Ticboy, anybody who can perform a ballad like "Red Solo Cup" can't be all bad!
He's an Okie, but he's too much of a big shot for me.
But if you're ever in one of his restaurants, they make the best rueben sandwich EVAH. Its a regular rueben, only they put bacon on it. Which means its the furtherest thing ever from a real rueben, but man is it ever good. Or maybe I just had the munchies real bad. Either way its good!

I went to spy school at Devens ... January - August 1972. I remember a couple of places I hung out semi-regularly, but can only remember the name of one of them. The Buttercup (I know, I know, I have no clue where the name came from) was my favorite. I believe it was in Ayer, but my memory sucks these days so I could be wrong. One thing I DO remember is that I almost always scored there ... ifyouknowwhatImeanandIthinkthatyoudo. ;) The hottest chick I met was a phone operator in Hampton Beach ... we spent a few weekends together and I haven't even a clue what her name was. She had a new Camaro and I had no wheels, so it was a great combination since she usually let me drive. Ohhhh, the good ol' days. ;)
