Funny, I was just setting up a doc's appointment and it landed on Sept 10th and I couldn't figure for the life of me why that rung such a bell. Then I remembered, 35 years ago from this Sept 10th I got myself sworn in to Uncle Sam's Air Farce and 31 years ago Sept 10th I got out and went to work the same day for MCI. So now this september 10th I go in and get a garden hose stuck up my butt.
Is there something ironic about all of this?
BKB
hahaha^...now thats funny right there^ Barry...
You always get hosed on September 10th. :)
Heck, I even hosed you on September 10th one year by catching bigger fish than you!
Hehe. Thumper said he hosed Posthole.
Don't believe I'd told that brother! ;)
September 10th is a meaningful day to me too.........and includes you guys.
That's the day I was talkin' about Bucky. I arrived back home in the wee hours of the morning of 9/11/2001 ... AFTER "hosing" Posthole on the 10th! ;)
(Then watched the towers burn later that morning)
Actually, I can't remember if we fished on the morning of the 10th or not. Or did we simply check out and head back to Stoney Plain on the 10th?
I think we just went back........I remember the Edmonton airport announcements that "DO NOT ATTEMPT to put any dangerous stuff in your carryon"......and that was the first we ever heard that, and didn't know why. That's how TW ended up with my needle nose pliers, I just handed them to him. They knew something was up, I think. And the nervous guy on your and Barry's flight. Just a lot of weird stuff. But yeah, I got into Little Rock at 10:35 pm and the next morning...............kapow.
