Cool! Thanks for the report .... ARCHER! ;)
That’s what you call a tease!

It's the only pic he has that he can post until his sister shows up, because we can't tell if it's correct, sideways or upside down! ;)
Hehe...... Got to admit that it looks like our man Bwana will have a good story to tell when he gets around to it. :)

At least we know a bear didn't get him. Unless the bear is posting with his iPhone
He appears to be tied up right npw!

Sweet!
How long are you going to leave us hanging!?!

Sorry folks but life is happening so I will do what I can for now and get back to you with the rest.
About all I can say is, "WOW!" Talk about a trip of a lifetime! A 1,300 mile round trip, a 14 mile boat ride across the lake to the island where we spent the week, daily jonboat rides to the baits, way cool quad rides, fishing whenever you want, watching great sunsets, great food, getting to meet wonderful new friends, first fish on a flyrod, first bear, and on and on and on...
We were so far north the horizon never went totally dark. Here is a picture from 12:40 AM.

But the sunsets were pretty cool too.

If we hunted the land-based stands we had this to look forward to after a 4-mile boat ride:

Sounds like a great trip! Pike on a fly rod are a hoot.
Man, talk about big boy fun!

Looks like his sister has been busy
Good times! Did you see the northern lights? Where exactly were you again?
BKB
Man that is some gnarly country ain't it? Looks like you boys had some FINE eating up there. :)
Will
Didn't get to see any northern lights as it was either raining/drizzling or cloudy. As for the where? We were something like 20-30 miles north of The Pas as near as I can tell.
Here is my view from the stand where I arrowed my bear. 19 yards to the bait, 23 max to the edge of the clearing, and only about 7-8 yards wide. For someone who is used to hunting the wide open prairies of ND, it was VERY hard getting used to the limited view I had!

And this is the view from the ground near my stand:

Congrats man
Man that brings back fond memories of my many bear hunting trips to the North Woods. Congrats on a good time!
Nice bear!
