Neat pics Jimmy! My Uncle Pete was a first sergeant, he was on his way across the channel for the landing but his ship got hit in the rudder by another boat and was towed back for repairs. Probably saved his life, he landed the following day.

I did the same thing, funny how little some things change even after 70 years.
