So, then your Toyota has Wi-Fi, does it, Jimmy??????
He's a city boy. He doesn't go where folks ain't.
Even running 48-states and Canada in my truck, it was EXTREMELY rare for me not to have service (Verizon) ... but if I ever did, texting always worked for some silly reason. I never could figure that out ... I'd have no bars and "no service" would be plastered across my screen, but I could always text. Anyway, I'll skip all those charges just to guarantee I'll have i-net when I don't have it once every 13 years. ;)
The SMS system runs on a separate bandwidth than voice........and takes far less of it to function.
I guess payin' for sumpin' I never need I suppose. Or payin' monthly for sumpin' I "might" need every 10 years or so. How's that? ;)
The big selling point in their commercials is so the kids can play their internet based video games in the back seat and not pester mom and dad. (spoiled brats!) :D
The chillin' he spawned over there are prolly grandparents themselves now. ;)
Bite me ... bof'a youse! ;)
Well, Good hunting won't load at the lake. Now that's not a big thing, but it'a a thing. I've also noticed, when I'm in a tight spot farming, even tho I have good radar, I can switch to my truck hot spot and get a better view. What I have now is free, not sure what I'll have do when it runs out, but I can see some advantages of it.
I can see where some could use/need it. I'm just givin' you buttheads a hard time. The way I understand it, you have to pay the On-Star subscription and the wi-fi runs an extra $5 for every 200 MB. I believe you get something like a 90-day free trial with the new car. We have the same on our new 'Yota with Sirius ... sumpin' we don't really need.
I ain't gonna go without my Sirus radio.
We have elebenty-bazillion radio stations to choose from between the Tampa & Orlando markets ... there ain't much we can't pick up for free. Besides, I really don't listen to the radio much while driving ... if anything, I'll slide in a CD.
I don't listen to hick music. ;)
Thump is more of a Yanni and Celine fan.

NTB, do you have your own stool, or do you need to use Cappy's when he's finished? ;)
I travel.
The Cardinals play baseball.
'Nuff said.
GAWD!! That's enough of a reason not to have it right there! ;)
Yes.
And my reception is just that much better, knowing that you aren't involved even as a customer!
Contaminating MY air with baseball broadcasts! Sheeesh! ;)
Speaking of contaminating someone's air!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Two best channels on the dial, Willies roadhouse and the NASCAR channel.
