My first thought when I saw the photo was..."sculpin". I guess I was right I just didn't know their was a rare subspecies. Apparently never did most biologists. My second thought was, well the trout don't care what species it is, it's all food to them.
See - new species being discovered every day. Bigfoot's still out there. ;) and nw the fly-tying industry will have to step up.
