Naaaa, we're a bit more civilized down this way. In my travels, I have seen coyotes hanging from fences. I was told it's to warn other coyotes not to enter the property or the same would happen to them! I swear, the guy who told me that told me with a straight face. I "think" he was serious! :crazy
Not sure what good a fish carcass would do though. :huh
I will admit, we do something similar down this way ... but it ain't quite the same. ;)

I’ve seen a lot of woodchucks on fences or fence posts but not fish.
We do have this building though.

I don’t see a single deer there that wouldn’thave profited greatly from just one more year.

I’ve seen snakes hung over barbed wire, but I dunno why. Never a fish though!
Up here I've seen some put old cowboy boots on fenceposts though I have never heard exactly why.
Me thinks the hanging-fish thing "might" be a neighbor's set-up trap for untidy cats, crapping in his yard.....hence, for a city dweller, a well-placed shot from a pellet gun or rat-shot.....otherwise, country folk will just blow their azz off the fence with a 12 gauge and buckshot.....at least, that's what I heard. ;););)
Wow. I figured people did this everywhere. Around here, drive any county road near fishable water and you will see fish carcasses usually catfish, stuck on fence posts.
carcasses? carcassi?
