Wow. What a hail. Details man ....
That's a whole pot full of flyiing livers! You lucky dog! Duck hunting like that isn't common these days.
BKB
The big group of folks that killed these, hunt right across the road....my group did almost as well, but danged if anybody even thought to take a pic....I guess 17 degree weather sorta numbs the brain.
Good times.
That's a shit ton of shootin'!
At least 1 box of shells.
They would have been good ducks next year. :D
They good ducks, THIS year, Cap....about 10 gals. worth of good duck/seafood gumbo !!! ;)
Duck/seafood gumbo??? WTF? And you have the audacity to criticize MY eating? :crazy
Ha, gumbo is made from anything you wanna put in it....best I ever ate was made by an old Loozana coonass, several years ago....duck, nutria, shrimp, dove, goose, oysters, wild turkey, lump crab meat, and squirrel....he came up here and catered it for my local bank, who did it for their customers....I provided a big dove field....he cooked it in a beat-up old 60 gal. black pot, over a huge wood fire, on the backside of my property.
He fed about 75 folks with their kids....however, it's prolly wise not to ask a gumbo cook, what's in his gumbo....just dig in !!! ;)
Kind of reminds me of Brunswick Stew in that department.

Waterfowl hunting was my first love. I di miss it but growing in the largest wetlands in the Caribbean (with a rice growing development ) got me spoiled ... nice pic, reminds me of hone....
