More football

Today was the first game for my 9 year old for this season. He is one if only three kids in his team that has played before.

They did surprisingly well for the limited amount of practice time they have had. They ended in a 13-13 tie. Better than a loss. They only have 11 kids on the team so they all play both sides of the ball. He is a tackle. He was pushing kids around all day and on at least one play had two offensive linemen tied up with him. He ended up recovering a fumble on the other team’s last offensive possession to maintain the tie.

He’s in the middle of the back row and number 40.
