The Great Gopher War of Saratoga continues

Last year the battle field of the great gopher war of 2018 nearly destroyed my yard. Well, they’re not actually gophers, they’re little furry Borg. You can take out a few and then you have to change tactics or adjust the frequency on your phaser. Not a fan of poison, flooding their tunnels with poison gas or carbon monoxide just pisses them off. I don’t know how but they get as wise to traps as a three legged coon.

Right now the MTD score is 1-1. They’ve buried one trap and I’ve caught one gopher. I’ve got a sure fire method worked out but it’s time consuming. It involves a good book, a lawn chair, a Johnson grass stem and a 22. I’ll implement it after I retire. Until then, the battle rages on
