    When it's dinner time.

Assuming you mean "time of day".. seems to make very little difference. We do most of our hunting from mid-morning to late afternoon. Maybe just a bit more success last hour of daylight. If you mean "season" - go for it.. works year-round..

We have a "furbearers" season here. Usually first of November.. Hides are usually just starting to prime up.. not quite there yet this year. Most of it is photoperiodism but takes some colder weather to help it along. Your hides should be coming along up there.

If you turn a dog loose to hunt – you’d better to be ready to deal with what he trees.

Oh man! I'm biting my tongue here. This is a perfect opening for an off-color joke.

    ^^^^^^ mm hmm..

Bwana, made about 10 sets yesterday and never even had a peeker. Changed locations, called one set and killed four in literally two minutes. I'ts fun when it works.
