I was checking an over-fall pipe near a duck hole, this morning, and glanced over to find this....even the entire area around the base of the tree was torn to h3ll....I sprayed some Tink's 69 all over it, and WILL climb a tree nearby, this afternoon.

Keep us posted but don't you know those things only show where a buck HAS BEEN, doesn't mean he will return. For your sake I hope he does.

Ha, pretty sure he'll be back....our southern deer are smart and aggressive....they'll check their scrap and rub lines, at least once or twice, daily.
Seaon ends Jan. 31st....120 straight days of deer season....one of the most generous in the nation.

Well, Bwana, he did show up, again, at the rub right at dark....he just wasn't the buck I have been looking for.
I've only seen the big boy that I've been looking for, only twice....he's limping badly in his left front leg, which could be from fighting in the rut, or just an accidental injury....either way, I'd really like to put him outta his misery 'cause he's a good 'un....about 18" inside spread, long double brow tines on each side, 5 long tines on each antler, and a 3 inch kicker on the left G3 will make him a true 15 pointer....just gotta wait him out, and be at the right place at the right time.

He's sly as heck....I think he's gone nocturnal....might hafta get out the spotlight.
However, he might just be laying low, trying to heal up that shoulder.
