I guess they are going to be a thing. Even self driving semis. I ain't sure how I feel about this. It sounds so far fetched but from the news reports its right around the corner.
I wonder if there will be be self driving old yellow Penske vans with the logo almost but not quite rubbed off.

they won't last long. First fatal accident and we'll legislate/relegate them to oblivion. Which is fine by me. I guess I'm a 'mudge, too!

I don't think they're going out do to regulation. There will be some issues at first but not enough to shut them down. I think the biggest issue will come from the lack of self driving cars, and the inability for the ones on the road to deal with shitty human drivers. I do wonder if self driving semis push drivers the way of coal miners, steel workers eventually.
Im sure Trump will put them back to work in all those coal mines we're gonna dig.
