$40 seems like cheap insurance from a lawsuit. Of course, I'm on the record that this is my last iPhone as I'm over apples BS.

Actually, I'm the one who would be initiating the lawsuit if it ever gets to that point. I just need those texts for evidence. Long story

You can save that specific text message. Tap and gold the text window and you'll see options for copying and pasting the whole thing. Text messages are way too easy to fake. You can't use them as evidence. It's a different technology,
It's mde to be very temporary.
That's why they don't transfer. If it's really important you could call Verizon and see why your options are.

It's a very long string of texts. One by one would be very time consuming. As for legal evidence, text messages are an extremely common source of evidence, especially since they include name, date and time stamps.

I'll bet you never expected this level of expert assistance when you asked the question.

Can you not do screenshots? That might be the only way.

That's persactly what I'm thinking of doing Postie. I'll check with the Verizon techs first. I've been a customer of "theirs" for over 27 years, so I'd sure think they might offer some help ... IF they can.

Go to the text thread. Hold your finger on one of the texts. After a second a "copy" and "more" option will appear. Select "more". Then you can select all the messages in the thread and paste them to an email. Date time stamps come across as well.

It's been my experience that time stamp does not show up on a screenshot, but it will doing it as LJ describes (copy and forward as email)

What I wanna know is WHY jimmy is a hell bent on saving a Text thread. My guess is less to do with suing someone and moreto do with Thai man/boy dicksizes.
