I dress two or three a year. The young ones are always best. I fry them up brown and throw them in the Dutch Oven like squirrels or rabbits (or chicken) . You can boil the old ones - "pull" them and they make pretty good sandwiches with some bbq sauce. You need to really trim the fat or they tend to be greasy.

airbud.. Fur prices are an interesting thing. "Animal rights" doesn't help and definitely has some bearing on the market. But, two of the biggest buyers of Midwest fur are Greece and Russia. They have no money right now. China is our other big buyer.. and they are volatile. Skyz" fancy "western" coyotes and bobcats hold up better because they are overall nicer fur and go for trim on high-end coats.
