    Good Weekend

Most of the lakes are still frozen but getting sloppy with slush. I love the fact the water doesn't freeze up below the dams in the tailraces. I much prefer fishing open water.
This dark rainbow succumb to my marabou jig shortly after first light in the morning.

Around mid day I caught four more rainbows all basically cookie cutters of this one.

Towards the end of the day this absolutely gorgeous gold colored brown trout made my whole day. It is one of the prettiest browns I've ever caught. Quickly took a photo and slipped in right back in the water. The fishing wasn't fast and furious, but all in all, it was a very good weekend!

That's some serious fishing right there. And beautiful country.
    Congrats.

Thump I had some vacation time last week so I skipped shaving for the week. In about 3 years I'll grow my goatee back and I'm sure it will be white as snow by then.
