    Fishing (and Trolling ;)) Report

Last two days have been around 75 degrees here in Northern VA. Was supposed to go fishing yesterday afternoon, but my partner in crime had to bail due to work.

So we decided to try this afternoon. But again, work happened. I had talked myself into going fishing regardless, so that's just what I did:

9 fish in about 2.5 hours, all from about 50 yards worth of the same creek.

The trolling? That was sending pictures and updates to my absent partner (LJ3)...

ETA: What'd I do wrong? Same thing I've done in the past, but the pics are links instead of embedded?

The best part of catching those nice fishies is the fact you can "F" with Ticboy while he's stuck at work. I'm SURE he'd return the favor if the situation were reversed.

    Nice fish! Big face!

Scared the scheisse out of me.

Ain't this February something else? Did you get a water temp?

I noticed you artfully cut off the bass's head and tail. Avante garde!

I did enjoy the selfies though! Usually we're taking pictures of each other's feesh. Much easier

I was amazed at how many gigapixels it took to capture Egghead's melon vs his fish. A ratio seldon seen. Maybe even pi is involved.

You would laugh if you knew all the strings and levers I was rigging up to to get out of the office. I was starting to impress even myself. Sometimes, you gotta listen to what the universe is telling you and do what you're sposed to do.

    But, I worked anyway.

I figure there's a 23" smallie in my future for repayment of the incredible sacrifice I endured on Friday.

Man, I left at Noon and hit the Beer Garden for lunch with my Mrs. and figured I should get credit for even showing up based on how empty the place was.
