Chuck Berry gone at 90 yrs. old.....

I always liked most of his songs...."Johnny B. Good", "Nadine", and of course, "My Ding-a-Ling".

I remember catching him at a local club my senior year of high school (1981) and thinking he was old then. My wife, ever so kind, let me know that he was a year or two older than I am now. RIP.

I'll admit I liked his music, but he was pretty much an asshole in his personal life. One thing that surprises me is that he was married to the same woman since he was like 22 years old.

My favorite Berry tune was It Wasn't Me. Good stuff.

That was one of my theme songs in high school. George Thorogood did a pretty good cover if it as well.

Yeah, George's version was more driving. I like it better.

Ole Lonesome George wouldn't have had a career if it weren't for Chuck Berry, that's for sure! Or the godforsaken Beatles for that matter
