If we had a fish forum...

I'd tell y'all about spanking crappie ass Monday... We caught about 60 between three of us.
Had some bad storms come through last night and had a ton of rain. Went back today and they had seriously slowed down. Wind was blowing 15 MPH steady and would gust to 40 MPH! It was a hard day on the water but still better than working...

Drain all but about a tablespoon of your fish grease out of the pan. Add about a quarter cup of corn meal to the grease and stir it around for a minute or so. Combine ketchup, water and hot sauce in a cup and slowly stir it into the corn meal until you get a consistency barely too thin to eat with a fork. The water to ketchup ratio should be according to taste as should be the hot sauce. I spoon it out on the side and drag both fish and taters thru it. Corn dodgers too if I have them

Dayum. That sounds pretty good. Well, except for the ketchup part.

I'm gonna print that and try it.

    Thanks!

Don't have to be ketchup, you could use sweet and sour sauce, soy sauce, worchester sauce or what ever flavor you fancy

Hopefully you won't cook them like you do red meat on a grill

. It may start out red but when Bruton's on the grill they don't end up that way.
