    Peeeeewie!

My young springer has been itching like nobody's business here lately with all the dry weather. So I've been putting a teaspoon of bacon drippings in her food once a day and its worked really well. (old home remedy for itchy dogs). the other side effect is she farts like a truck driver. I don't know which is worse. She has a tendency to crop dust you too, much like Travis does at work.

I've always used olive oil, instead of bacon drippings....gives the dog-farts a hint of italian flavor.

I learned a long time ago to never feed my dogs any pork products unless I had a gas mask handy. Just seems to be something about pork that sets a dogs digestive track into methane production mode.

Your dogs are itching, because their skin is dry.

We had same problem, in the Northwest, when we kick the heat on.

    Turn on a humidifier!!!!

Been using it for years, during the winter, and dogs don't itch. It works!!

Besides its better for you. Mines on.

    Your Welcome!

P/s pork not good for dogs!!
