Gave the big ol copperheads to my neighbor and cleaned the river bream and smaller gills. Was going to eat them last night but wife made a trip to Bradleys country store so for dinner we had Bradleys smoked sausage, eggs and coarse ground grits. Damn grits cook for an hour but worth every minute. Good eatin.

The last time I fished with Booger, we were fishing for 12-footers!

Mallards like crickets too. Caught a hen mallard one time as she snatched a big black cricket as soon as it hit the water. Hooked her through the tongue.

Definitely. Managed to land her. Took her back to a friend's farm where they clipped her wings, put her in with the rest of their farm ducks.

No, but I caught one fishing once. on my bobber. I was jigging from the bank for bluegills along the weed edge of a pond and a bullfrog pounced on my bobber as I pulled it in. Bout gave me a grabber. He wouldn't let go of it so I snatched him. I turned him loose but he was a BIG aggressive bullfrog.

We use to fish for them with a small 4 inch red plastic worm "red shad" color.
You can spank them on that.
My son caught a 7 1/2 pound bass eye he was a kid. I took it to the taxidermist, he started skining it and it had a 17 inch snake in its belly.

Back when I did a lot of saltwater fishing, I couldn't tell you how many dang pelicans I hooked. You'd cast and they'd go into a nose-dive to grab your bait. Those big bastids would really get your drag smokin'!

I hooked a buddy one time in the back of the head with a #8 bream hook. Drag wasn't screamin but he sure was. Carried on like a little bitch. Kinda like Thumper would when I whipped his ass bream fishing.

Nice booger! Aren't you the one that fished with your hands and feet when the 'gills were up on their nests?
If we all threw our problems in a pile, and you saw everyone else's problems-- you'd take yours back.

Yeah. Forget I had told that one on myself, or maybe Tony told it. I would use 12' bream busters, one on each foot and one in hand. This year I have switched to a 11' croppie jigging pole with an underspin reel with 4# test. Slicker than shit. You can just let out about 12' of line and use it like a bream buster(cane pole) or let out more line and use like a flipping stick to reach further, or just cast it. As we go down the bank I can fish EVERY spot I want without the length limit of the bream buster. Also way faster to fish then an ultralite rod and reel.
