My wife's cousin has a son that is a cropduster pilot. Those are some crazy dudes.

Cool! Ha! It looks like a shortened, clunky version of the P51 Mustang.

A cheap replacement for the A10? Seems like a good idea.

I've known two cropduster pilots in my life. One I grew up with is dead from cancer from chemical exposure, he was like 35 when he died. The other was a guy I met down in Texas whose Dad and brothers were in a family crop duster business. That guy was crazier than a bedbug.

They're sure fun to watch work though!

And that plane's name is Dusty Crophopper by the way. Ot so my grandson says.

Ha ha! You just brought back an old childhood memory P-hole. When I was a kid, I'd spend my summers with my grandparents at their North Carolina house in the mountains. Weeping Willows were very common in the area and I'd never seen one before. My grandmother told me what they are, and every time I'd spot one after that, I'd say, "Look Mom! A Lumpin' Wheeple tree!"

From that point forward, it's been a family type inside "joke" ... Wheeping Willows will always be Lumpin' Wheeples to me.

On our last trip, back from the property, we were dive bombed by a crop duster.
He came right over our truck and dropped even closer to the field, once he cleared the road.
I didn't even know he was up there, until he scared the heck out of me.
I'm sure he got a good chuckle out of that!
Guy was crazy flying. Fun to watch him though.
