Trip report - Outer Banks with My girls

We are like royalty, fished a lot, relaxed even more, and had a great time together. Much needed family time for Dad.

Our inshore charter Captain summed things up for me without even realizing it. "You're about as lucky as a man can be that both your daughters want to fish with you." True story, my man. True story.

I realize at 21 and 19 years old, the window where Dad is fun to hang out with may be closing soon so I treasure these moments more than usual.

If we all threw our problems in a pile, and you saw everyone else's problems-- you'd take yours back.

I love my son to death, but I've always thought that if I'd had a daughter, she'd be spoiled rotten ... NOT a spoiled brat, but I'll guarantee you she'd be a "daddy's girl".

Congrats dad .. great times you'll all cherish forever.

Len - in my experience you are already past the time when the kids no longer think you are cool and don't want to be seen with you. I would say you have nothing to worry about in that department so breath a sigh of relief, you made it.
