Found these huge persimmons in a widow woman's back yard.....she's living with one of her kids, now, so I drop by to check on here place from time to time.....these mofo's are HUGE, but they taste like crap, compared to the regular-sized persimmons.

Diospyros Kaki or better known as the Japanese Persimmon. Not bad, deer will eat them but nothing like the smaller native persimmons which is like crack to deer

Yep, Cap, they are an absolutely beautiful-looking fruit meat, when peeled, but after sinking you teeth into them, your mouth starts to quiver.
