So Alabama can no longer be a conference champion, right? If so, that’ll be a big hurdle to overcometo get back in.

Clempson has potential to be a turd in the punch bowl too if they lose tonight. Its conceiveable there could be no ACCteam in the final four.
    After having two ranked there.

If what are likely to be the Top 4 hold serve next weekend, Clemson, OU, Wisconsin, and Auburn, most of this FBS stuff will have worked itself out. Where it will get interesting is if a couple of them lose. If OU, Clemson or Wisconsin lose, those conferences are likely shut out. If Auburn loses, both GA and Bama prolly get in despite the fact that Bama’s strength of schedule is barely top 50.

Methinks you’re right. Still, if Auburn and Ohio State wins out, it’ll be tough to select between those two loss conference winners. And a two loss USC would be in the mix too if they won the PAC 12. So that 4th spot is very much in play.

It makes it innersting. I’m not sure who the bigger media darling is between those three but it ain’t Auburn.

Auburn has gotten it done on the field the past few weeks, but 3rd loss would keep them out.

Auburn has beat two CFP number ones. So I think they’d deserve to be in. But the CFP would be in a conundrum if say, Ohio State beat Wiscy amd USC won the Pac 12. They think Sam Darnold hung the moon and stars.

And, that devil, Nick Saban, talking about how one game doesn't make a season or change who they are was pathetic.

Also, if the NCAA isn't careful, "rules" are going to ruin the college game as badly as they have the NFL. That 4th down play where Auburn's 12 men on the field was reviewable and Bama's illegal motion on the same play wasn't is ridiculous. I was watching with the boys and we've been having a running family conversation about faith, agnosticism and nihilism and right before Bama ran that 4th down play (after the review) I told him if you need proof of the existence of God, Bama won't make this first down. Score one for the believers!

    CFB week 13

I can’t remember the last college game I enjoyed watching more than that Auburn game Saturday afternoon.

I didn’t watch it as I was watching the Sooners put a beatdown on the couch burners. And considering how West virginia approached that game, I would have been happy if we’d have left the first teams in and scored 80 points on them. They intentionally tried to injure players, theyintentionally started fights, they intentionally hit our qb late and in the head, and there is no reason to think they weren’t coached to play that way. Holgorson couldn’t beat us fairly when he was at Okie State and he can’t beat us unfairly at WVU. And yes, I’m still pissed off at how they played that game. And it seems thats they way they play every time they play us. I think its time for a new head coach at West V irginia if they ever expect to garner any respect at all.

    Stupidity mostly.

Y'all are all het up about the rankings and I'm more excited about the fact I went 10-3 on what is typically one of the toughest weeks to pick. Won't be as many picks this week because not as many games

Now's when you need to double-down QA. Always feed a hot hand...

(And, great call on the score for the NC State game.)
