You may be right about GA Tech. I wouldn't bet on it, but I wouldn't be surprised either. I'll definitely be rooting for chaos theory at the top. War Damn Eagle! I'd love to see every team in the BCS top four go down as long as it doesn't let the Buckeyes or the Irish back into it.

I think you’re givng Satan too much credit. He can’t play too. They basically have a second team linebackng corps and Stidham is hitting his stride in that offense. He’s the genuine article. I’m still not convinced Jalen Hurts is. If anybody can do it, Auburn can force Hurts to have to put the game on his arm.

It’ll be the game of the week fer sure.

Nick probably will have three at least, maybe five of his injured players back for saturday. Gus is gonna be thinking about how much money the hogs are gonna offer him after they fire Beilema friday

My favorite sports network is claiming this morning that even if Alabama loses in the Iron Bowl or in the SEC championship to Georgia, they would remain in the top four. And mind you Alabama has played one of the weakest schedules of any team in the top ten, including Wisconsin. They have ONE victory over a ranked team this year (Miss State). One.

Does my disdain for the ‘playoff that isn’t a playoff’ shine through this cloud of bullshit? This isn’t a playoff. All they’ve done is create at a new at large bowl system that sells tickets.

    Assholes.

Posty, I'm gonna go way out on a limb here and guess you're not entirely on board with the current playoff system

By definition, its not a playoff if you have to be nominated to participate in it. Its an invitation only tournament.

If they lost in the Iron bowl in a close one, but won the SEC Championship (I haven't looked at the standings to see if that's even possible.), then "maybe". Otherwise, that's BS.

That’s what I mean, they’d be in it without having won their conference while another conference winner would be left out.

I think ESPN knows what side their SEC toast is buttered on is what I think. Its such obvious bias they don’t even try to hide.

In my world, no way a team who isn’t a conference champ gets to play for the BCS.

QA, I hope I'm pleasantly surprised with your MS State/ole pizz prediction of 35-20.....this in-state rivalry game is as fierce as Bama/Auburn, any day !!!.....home-field advantage or not, this game is always a blood-letting, no matter who wins or loses.....eye-gouging, arm-biting, and ankle-twisting in the pile is to be expected from both teams.

BM, they even had a big article in our local paper about the game, the rivalry and the whole “Rose Bowl” guy and his involvement in exposing the NCAA violations at Ol’ Miss

The inside scoop is that the penalties for the many ole pizz violations and infractions will be handed down within 2 weeks.....I'm sure they won't get the death penalty, but some of the sheeit they did would certainly justify it.
I don't think we've heard the last of Hugh Freeze, either.....he was knee-deep in all that crap.

Imagine this: With Miss State getting beat, Alabama now has fewer quality wins than Wisconsin.

Well, Tpostie, all you gotta do is beat WVU tomorrow, and you've secured a whirl at the big dance.

I think we have to beat TCU in he Big 12 Championship to make it. Tommorrow would be a sweet victory but another Big 12 championship would be sweeter. I think the conference is better with only one rankec Texas school.

Mercifully the season and the Bret Beilema tenure is over. Time to move on to a new season filled with hope at the beginning and despair at the end

I sure don’t understand why if there is holding in the end zone on a punt that it isn’t a dad gum safety.

The Mountaineers are clearly trying to get under OU’s skin.

Looks like they woke OU up which was a mistake as the Sooners are making a statement in the second half.

LOL maybe they’ll score 46 in the second half.
