    Fried fiddlers and fries.....

    .
There's nothing I enjoy any better than small fiddler channel cats.....we haven't been to the lakehouse in about a month, so we went over to check on things, last weekend.....while I was mowing the yard, wifey tended the yoyo's, then I cleaned 'em, and fried up about 20 of these little fellas, with fried yukon gold new potatoes, and a slab of vidalia onion, tonite.....life is sho'nuf good !!!

And yes, I eat the crispy tails, too.....the very first thing.

Tails are good! Not as good as the legs on a soft shelled crab, but good!

I don't eat the tails either, but that works out well, as Lynn's favorite part is the tail. But she's a bit strange anyway, she even eats shrimp tails.

surest way to tell a good ole southern boy is he eats fried fish tails and has no idea what you're talking about when you say "quiche".

Man the tails are the best part. I save them for last!
I got a buddy that wher we clean bream the first thing he does is cut off the fins and tails!
Drives me nuts. He says the fins poke holes in the ziplock bags and the Fish freezer burn.
I told him he was cutting off the best part.
