‘Bout to hit the sack and get some sleep. Leaving early in the morning for a few days at the beach.

Working all weekend. Winter has finally arrived. We got our first snow yesterday, just a light dusting.

Here’s the temp as I’m heading to work.

Clear and colder than a well diggers butt here this week. Took care of all of my leaves yesterday and I think it got to about 37. Its 21 this mornng and we’re warming all the way up to 40.

Its supposed to get tothe mid 60’’s on Sunday so Birddog and I are are attending the church of the outdoors and fishing a brand spanking new coal pit neither of has seen before. Can’t beat that on a December day!

Had our fist measurable snow fall yesterday, about 4", then received another 2" overnight.
Snowthower fired up on the first pull, cleaned the drive yesterday and today.
Right now it's 23 and clear.
The older I get, the better I was. I also forget my password and have to have Len reset it for me

All those fun photos in that video and ironically I won't be hunting or fishing this weekend. I'll be working my tail off to get a commission piece finished so the client can get it matted and framed in time for Christmas. The good news is the commission piece is turning out really nice. Hope the recipient of the gift is happy with it.

TBH, I never even keep track of the weather these days (with a few exceptions of course). Last night I was packing my shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops (my every day wear) and Lynn told me it was supposed to get “cold” this weekend. So, I threw in a pair of Levi’s.

We had one of the wettest Novembers ever so a forecast of a week of sunny weather on the way was great news. It did stop raining and we got a nice morning sun then serious fog for the last 3-4 days. It is sunny apparently but not down here at sea level. A regular pea souper!

38 in Virginia Beach... pretty steady rain alllllll day, which is now mixed with sleet. A crappy day. And more tomorrow. Good thing I have some sorting of Hunting stuff, and some painting to do inside. I’d go nuts otherwise.

It was 23 degrees here this morning, and absolutely beautiful weather.....been on my deer stand since 5:45am....I've let 5 small bucks walk, just because it's too day'um cold to skin one, this morning.....grandson and his 3 buddies are duck hunting, and it sounded like a war going on at daylight.....he texted me that "steel shot sucks", but they managed to get a limit of greenheads.....I still doubt the sanity of anyone, getting up at 3:30am and sloshing thru waist-deep water to kill a day'um duck, which they won't eat, then promptly give away to someone who evidently must be starving.....they're pretty good in gumbo, but that's about it.

That story about your grandson and his buddies brought a smile to my face. Man, me and my buddies could sling some lead at some ducks back in the day.
