I think ambivalence did in the pool idea. I’m trying to find Nd something to argue with you on that list and just can’t find it.

BM, did you see where Ole Miss’ QB is transferring to Michigan? The rats are starting to leave the ship.

Those are some solid picks. Not sure if I disagree with any of them, but for competitions sake I think I’m going to pick Wash U over PSU and I’m gonna go with LSU over the Domers. LSU got better as the year went on, and I think Notre Dame wasn’t much of anything except overrated. And they play a lot tougher brand of football in the PAC 12 than folks give them credit for. UCLA might just beat the brakes off of TCU IF their starting QB plays. And if he does play, Patterson’s dirty D might just try to hurt him. Watch the white dude with the dreads at DE to try to take a knee out.

Yep, saw that a few days ago.....to be honest, that new ole pizz Hawaiian qb, Ta'amu, is better than Patterson, and he prolly saw the writing on the wall that he might not get his position back so easily.
Patterson is one of those hotty-totty IMG Academy graduates, but Harbaugh will find a way to screw him up.

Yep, he was born in Hawaii, but played junior college ball at New Mexico Military Institute.....very impressive qb stats.
He's one of Hugh Freeze's recruits, so he prolly already knows how to get "lei-ed".....ha, get it???....."lei".

Hey guys, I know Niner would love it that the Dawgs are SEC champions and have this great opportunity to advance to the Natty which I believe they will. We got too much defense and too much running game for crotchboy to overcome. Aubie will stomp UCF . LSU will squeak by the gold domes.
Hope everyone here has a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Good to hear from you Tightline! Merry Christmas to you and yours as well! Don’t be such a stranger.

I’ve had a couple of ocassions lately that made me think of, and miss Niner too. I sure wish he was around to talk some Sooner smack with. I know he’d be up for it.

We’re gonna beat the brakes off the Dawgs by the way.

Do they have another Carson Wentz Philadelphia can borrow? They broke theirs and he’s in the shop.

Assuming you meant Toledo and App State in your tiebreaker?

K-State-UCLA didn’t make your list but finally somebody from the Big 12 represented. And I’d say Chip Kelly has his hands full with that gang of cake eaters at UCLA next year. They flat out showed disrespect to their interim coach on their side
    line.

Today we start getting out of the minor bowls and ESPN can put away the Hooterville cams that don’t show the size of the crowds (maybe Trump had those at his inauguration).

On to bowl week and one really great basketball game Friday (OU-TCU)!

Then the ball haters can post their dismay! (I’m lookin at you Thumper)

I thought they wanted to go big time with their hires. As in young, up and coming coaches with lots of upside potential and big game potential. Not casting aspersions but Bob Trott is neither young, nor up and coming, nor do they play many big games in the Colonial League or whatever its called.

Sheesh. I expected more out of Arkansas.

I would think our choice of head coach would speak volumes about the powers that be in Fayetteville

I've been watching some classic Big 12 games from the 70"s........maybe we need some throwbacks

It was the Big 8 in the 70s.

I think folks were pretty happy with Hatfield weren’t they? Won some SWC titles. Of course Old Trott prolly still runs the 46 he copied from the Bears.

I don't think our defense could have been worse if we picked 11 people out of the stands at random and told them to get out there and tackle somebody

Did you catch any of the K-state - UCLA game last night? Man old Snyder has been around a spell. I remember when he beat us in the Big 12 championship in 2004 (?). I was there in the 20 degree cold at Arrowhead. It was colder than dookey. Darren Sproles ran the hell all over us. I can’t stand their fans. Except for Hombre. I used to think KState played dirty on Defense, late hits and whatnot. They’ve calmed that stuff down. Prolly a holdover from when stoops was there.
Snyder has a helluva coaching tree.
I think Bill Trott might be older.

I nearly called it a night at half last night, sure glad I didn't. Snyder has done great things for estate, but his recent antics are shameful.
