Weekend Plans May 19-20 Early Edition!

We leave tomorrow morning for Dauphin Island, Alabama. Gonna drive to Jackson, Ms tomorrow and then on to Aladamnbama Saturday. Maybe we’ll stop over to visit and saif eff-you to Bernie at the state prison. We’ll at least salute him as we drive through"
I used to take some long sunday drives through Mississippi when I was in the service stationed in Biloxi. The Desoto Nat’l forest was one of my favorite places to just tool around. Innersting folks too!
I haven’t finished my route yet, but I am for sure gonna try to swing through there.

We’re gone for a week. Hope its a goodun’ for all of y’all and I hope my garden is still here when I get back. Lord knows, i’ve pampered it enough this year. I should have enough fror a big bate of fried green maters when I get home.

Since Saturday is my birthday, (and Chicken Dinner's too) I plan on hunting turkeys with my dad on Saturday and have our first bonfire of the summer that evening. Sunday is the last day of league shooting for the High School Clay Target League so will be at the gun club from 10:30 AM until at least 7:30 PM.

I SHOULD be replacing the top seal on my camper slide outs but first I have to get the rest of the new flooring installed since last winter's cold cracked it.
