This morning's 1-1/2" rain was perfect on my tassling sweet corn.....this is a newer F1 hybrid variety, Silver King(not Silver Queen).....oughta be eating some by July 4th.....gonna try an even newer variety, next year, which is a bi-color and Roundup Ready variety---NO grass to fight!!!.

No crows around these parts.....and, the capsasin is keeping everything else at bay, so far.....I saw a coon wiping tears outta his eyes.
