    Broken New Years Resolution

Well, I made it half way through the year before I broke my resolution to not buy any new guns. Got a few bucks from a recognition award at work and had too much spare time today.

Ordered a new Weatherby 6.5-300, it shoots a 127gr Barnes LRX at a sluggish 3531fps. It should be here in a week or so, I will post pics. I need this like I need another hole in my head.

Dang Snowflake! What's the world coming to? Does the present day workforce really expect to be paid extra just because their co-workers recognize them when they walk into the office? Unbelievable.

(Congrats dude ... sounds like fun!)

Hey that's a cool deal. Hope you enjoy the rifle. We don't buy as many as we used to do we?

I haven’t bought one in a while, I usually only buy one if I get a good deal on one. I can’t really remember the last time I bought one new from a store before this one.

I pretty much have everything short of a grizzly covered at this point and I have a 300 Weatherby mag that would probably work on it. Although from what I read most folks go with a 338mag or bigger.

The good news is the new rifle came in Saturday the bad news is I had to drop $180 for 2 twenty round boxes of ammo.

$4.25 a pop?! Damn, I’d have to reload those things.

I’ll never complain about how fast my kids can burn through .223 and 9mm again!
